Good value for my first 10k

I was looking for a reasonably priced 10k and found the Sunderland City 10k. I got the early bird entry which saved me a bit compared to the standard price. The entry included a timing chip and a medal, so it felt like good value for what I paid. I was happy with the overall cost and what was provided for it. The experience was worth the money.

Overall positive, minor issue

I purchased the Sunderland City Half Marathon entry along with the official event t-shirt. The registration process online was straightforward, and the t-shirt arrived pretty quickly, which was good. My only small gripe was with the finisher medal engraving; it took a bit longer than expected to get done after the race. Otherwise, the event itself was well-supported and felt safe. Good value overall, but the engraving service could be a tad faster.

Fantastic Race Day Experience

I signed up for the Sunderland City 10k entry this year and it was just brilliant! Everything was so well organized, from the registration process to the finish line. The atmosphere was incredible with all the cheering crowds. I got my race pack delivered super quick, which was a nice touch. I'm already planning to run it again next year and told my running club friends they should too. What a great event!

Reliable choice for a good run

I've run the Sunderland City 10k several times now, and this year's experience was just as consistent as previous ones. I opted for the race pack delivery again, which always makes things easier. The route is familiar, and I always appreciate the well-marked course and water stations. It's become my go-to local 10k. No surprises, just a solid, well-managed event every time.
